The experience was worth sharing because our HR team had been newly assembled just months before we decided to implement a new system. This meant we faced a significant learning curve in understanding our company’s structure, which consists of three sub-entities.
My advice is to familiarize yourself with your company’s structure and its policies regarding Paid Time Off (PTO) and payroll. These are the two aspects that employees care about the most, as they directly impact their finances.
Additionally, having an updated employee handbook is essential. Lastly, it is important to build a good working relationship with your partners.
