Our implementation partner and consultants are two different companies. We had a bad experience with our implementation partner and an amazing experience with our consultants, Kognitiv Inc. Lesson learned is do a lot of research on your implementation partner and ask references. They set the tone for how everything goes forward. After our implementation contract ended, we were experiencing issues and our software was not utilized fully. We hired Kognitiv Inc. to help us problem solve issues we were experiencing. Kognitiv Inc. is also helping us fully utilize Workday and knowledge transfer that we did not receive from the implementation partner.

If you’re implementing Workday, it’s critical to thoroughly vet the consultants you select. In our experience, the initial consulting team chosen by our CIO misconfigured key aspects of our system, which ultimately required us to engage a second consulting firm to correct the issues and optimize performance.

Kognitiv Inc has been exceptional. Their consultants bring direct, hands-on experience in the functional areas they support, operate efficiently, and take a proactive approach throughout the engagement. They remain highly engaged with Workday best practices, ensuring client tenants are configured effectively and positioned for long-term success. We strongly recommend Kognitiv Inc.

Kognitiv has been an exceptional partner through my 10+ years working with them. They are able to consistently demonstrate a deep understanding of our systems and priorities which enables them to provide top-of-the-line support. Their responsiveness is always off the charts. I’ve worked with them on projects ranging from a comprehensive system assessment to break-fix support, through new feature implementations. In each instance, their collaboration and communication have been exceptional. I’ve worked with numerous Workday partners throughout my career who each displayed strengths in various areas, but none were as consistently strong across the board as the Kognitiv team.

Kognitiv offers a flexible T&M Model for Workday Projects and brings a lot of client side experience to the table that helped us plan our our new SKU and enhancement plan beyond the immediate project. By reviewing our 2-3 roadmap and budget guardrails with them, they were able to put together a longer term plan to stretch our existing budget into new areas we did not think we could tackle in the short term. Their Extend and Apps team is top notch also, they included my team in the projects and bring them up to speed. We have used their post production support AMS offering for years and have been extremely happy.
