HRchitect’s Kathryn Lopez and her incredible team came highly recommended to us by their previous/current client, *just* as we were about to embark on a critical, time-sensitive project that was larger and more complex than our previous initiatives. Kathryn and her team exceeded our high expectations, and we immediately hired HRchitect for a new project.
As I watched Kathryn lead the engagement, I couldn’t help but think she embodies the qualities of the rare ‘perfect consultant’ that all advisors strive to be; Kathryn is the ideal, high-performing, client-first, incredibly smart, genuine, and ethical advisor.
Similarly, the HRchitect team, which included SMEs relevant to our project, was also excellent. In terms of intellectual prowess, effectiveness, client-centricity, and efficiency, I’d easily put Kathryn and her team up against the best consultants/teams.
The system we implemented was effective and met our objectives, but the technology vendor’s process included a step or two that we believed could jeopardize an absolutely critical milestone/deadline of ours. Furthermore, it was clear that the technology vendor was understaffed, which we were concerned would impact turnaround times, and only a few of our team members were truly experienced in this line of work. As a result, we were concerned about things going awry and potentially igniting a chain reaction affecting a large number of dependencies and deadlines.
But, no worries with Kathryn at the helm! We felt much more at ease after our first meeting with Kathryn and her team because it was clear that they deeply understood the nuances of the technology, the underlying processes, and the inherent risks. They did not simply dismiss the risks as ‘nothing’ because they had ‘been there and done that’ numerous times; rather, it is *because* of their extensive experience that they assigned each risk the appropriate amount of weight, educated us on the processes and interdependencies, and walked us through ways to avoid them. Furthermore, in addition to relying on their expertise, experience, and the process measures built-in to avoid obstacles and/or delays, it was clear that they had a strong network at the vendor and were prepared to leverage, if needed, to advance things on behalf of their clients. Kathryn is truly that rare perfect consultant, and her team is made up of highly intelligent, agile, client-dedicated, responsive experts who will ensure the project is carried out to the highest quality standards.
