Overall, our experience was positive. The implementation of our ben admin system had some constraints because we were building it for a future plan year and there were several scenarios we couldn’t test before the end of the previous year. My only suggestion would be to have the consultant stay on a little longer in these scenarios, even in a reduced capacity, as there are still likely issues that will arise that couldn’t be tested. Working through support has not been a great experience so far, and I’m grateful to have gotten some additional, albeit unplanned, assistance from our original consultant. It saved my team a lot of time and effort.
