What “Lessons Learned” would you provide to others implementing with this partner / software? What else would you tell us about your project experience?
We found the Oracle platform to be a horrible user experience and much too complex for our organizational needs. Additionally, our original implementation partner wasn’t proactive or strategic. And since there is very little support from the Oracle side, we felt that it was imperative for us to switch our systems support partner to Peloton. They did not do our original implementation with Oracle and if they had, I think our rollout would have been more successful and the system wouldn’t have been such a “lemon”. When we brought on Peloton, they performed a complete check on all our modules and the configuration logic. Pointing out all the areas that we could streamline and improve system functionality. From their review and action plans, we were able to clean up the system and get it to a place where it was more of a credible platform. From there, they acted as a safety net, the system experts with many projects ex: Open Enrollment, rollouts of new functionality and keeping the system operating with fewer issues. They did support us more with strategic efforts with the system and our Open Enrollment launches went from being very stressful and time consuming to being easy and well managed. All project leads/consultants were great to work with and our Account Manager was flexible, organized and diligent about keeping cases moving toward resolution.
