What “Lessons Learned” would you provide to others implementing with this partner / software? What else would you tell us about your project experience?
Any pain points or obstacles while working with our consultant were self-made. We were extremely happy with our partner Damaris at Sability and already have plans to engage services later in the year. We have other projects that we had to pause due to internal decisions and impactful company changes that need to be made first. We also identified new projects while working with Damaris that will greatly assist us with getting where we want to be in future.
My high satisfaction is really with our consultant not necessarily the software vendor. Scores below are specifically for the consultant and my answers for speed, cost, and time are also for consultant.
As for the software vendor, I would recommend there be different discussions held between UKG implementation and smaller companies. We have a very small team without experience necessary for some of the areas we needed. We are not coders and have historically relied more on the software company. We did not realize that UKG provides less support and guidance than ADP or Paylocity. UKG is a robust system that I really like but we really should have had an experienced consultant during the implementation, not only post production.
