Make sure you are working with a consultant that takes the time to understand your business model and desired outcomes – it is not easy to think of all the configuration pieces or questions to ask to get the software to work the way you want, so having a knowledgeable consultant in your corner is incredibly impactful.
Don’t assume that UKG/HRIS you work with will give recommendations on how to properly set up the system, they will set it up according to how you request, and there are areas that could be missed that will have a big underlying impact on the system’s overall user-friendliness.
