SCOPING ACCURACY:
How well did your implementation partner scope the work and understand your needs during the pre-sales process?
Partner scoped and quoted the work well, but our needs changed during implementation
Was the implementation team who actually performed the work the same team that was proposed?
I’m not sure
What “Lessons Learned” would you provide to others implementing with this partner / software? What else would you tell us about your project experience?
The FIMS project has been a very difficult project to due to various reasons (mainly due to initial implementation Partner Kadiya Partners). However, since we worked directly with Unit4, Daphne and her technical team has been extremely courteous and responsive. I believe we have achieved some significant tasks.
A good example is when we had to restructure the FIMS Security documentation, a pre-requisite for finalising design milestone. The request from the client was a difficult one, as new critical infrastructure legislation required more stringent security assessments/documentation. It was a mammoth effort by Daphne/Anton to deliver this document set in short period of time and to very high quality. Daphne’s team’s effort was really appreciated by Icon Water’s Cyber Security Manager when it was submitted to technical working group and Digital Design Authority.
Another example is where Daphne assisted us to include a minor PoC for WAM into the schedule. It could have been a very difficult discussion if she didn’t bring in her calm and friendly negotiation skills and willingness to work with client to meet their expectations. I believe incorporating the PoC will improve the final Unit4-WAM integration, reducing many defects that may come up if we didn’t commit to the PoC. The last meeting we had between WAM SMEs and Daphne’s team demonstrated the high level of collaboration that now exists, which in turn will lead to more efficient development of this complex interface.
I thank you Daphne and your capable team on the technical services that have been provided to us in the last few months.
