    Our project experience was massive learning curve of our team, many on on project had never worked with and HRIS before and were learning capabilities of the system while working to build it. This slowed down our progress in the build phase. Recommend others really focus on phased timelines and deadline which if not met can throw the implementation of course. A major lesson learned for us was to take the seriously the crucial instruction to complete the training overview as outlined. Remember that go live training for your organization employee will come from you and your team, learn the system, anticipate your staff’s training needs and begin planning for this early!

    It was great to have a partner that knew the ins and outs of the system. Sarah and Olivia were very knowledgeable and it was helpful to have consultants that were so responsive.

    Olivia and Sarah had just a short period of time to get everything ready for go-live. With only 6 weeks until our final deadline, they needed to take over a somewhat disorganized project and prepare it for a payroll test with Benefits Administration, all within four weeks.

    Even in this accelerated schedule, they set up complex benefits eligibility and cost structures while instituting an automated process for updating or recalculating employee benefits when changes occurred. They then identified which processes would be available to employees at launch and which could wait until after the go-live, prioritizing new hire enrollment so we could roll that out with the go-live. Sarah and Olivia continued their hard work on our project until every open item had been resolved.

    Another client of this firm who has a highly complex system setup shared with us their ”lesson learned” was that a weekly touch-base with the consultants is highly recommended to succeed. I can pass on the same recommendation to any prospect client that have the same needs. It has been a little over a year since we started to do business with this firm and they have been always thorough on expected turnaround time, attentiveness and they have always been able to find some time to jump on a quick call when we are concerned about an issue in a project and needed to talk through and plan out.

Communication was transparent throughout the project, with open and productive discussions and working sessions, ensuring our system would meet all our business needs. The consultants were always available to offer immediate support throughout every project phase. The team provided training upon project completion to ensure we were ready to take over the system seamlessly. In particular, Avery Cole was great to work with and made what could be a complex process easy for us.

    We did not chose this consulting company, they were assigned to us by the vendor, who partners with them. For the product we had purchased, needed to be more clear that employee information was required to be re-entered in multiple places. Information did not flow across all parts of the systems. Made for double entry.
    Overall, working with the consultants was a great experience. Always helpful, quickly answering any questions and researching better ways to process information.

    The handoff from our UKG Delivery Manager to our Covalence Project Manager was seamless. Daniel did an fantastic job ensuring our project moved along in a timely, efficient manner. Our team felt valued, heard and supported. He was understanding that we were a small group and didn’t always have the time to do all of the trainings assigned to us. We appreciated the flexibility.
    It would have been helpful to know that each Module within UKG has a different Project Lead assigned to it and Daniel would not be with us through the implementation of other modules. Additionally, towards the end of our time together, closer to deployment, the Covalence team became slightly less available as they had begun working with other clients.

    We have learned through most if not all of our implementations that we are more complex than the standard customer. As a result we often take longer to complete projects and therefore spend more. We are learning how to better explain ourselves up front so that expectations are aligned on both sides, but this is a learning experience.

    Ultimate peeps had moved some employees off of our team for implementation, so they farmed the work out to Covalence. Emily came in 1/4 of the way into the project with very little information and was able to get us up and running by our “live date”. Amazing!
